Hello everyone! I've been quite absent in the past times because i've got so much to do, more than i can handle. Last thursday i went to a summer festival here in portugal, vilar de mouros and it absolutely rocked. Except for the first two bands but who cares ;P Anathema, Within Temptation and Nightwish gave a great show. Regarding Anathema, i knew a couple of songs but they really didn't mean anything special to me but after seeing them live i can say they blew me away. Within Temptation was the first time i saw them live, no surprises there, was what i expected, good show. Now... Nightwish... I have to say, second time i've seen them live

It's been a long time since i've posted anything here. I've been absent due to lack of time. I'm opening up a recording studio and that has been very time consuming. I hope i can get the time to make some new works and post them here. But the purpose of this journal is to tell you that i just saw one of my favourite bands in concert, The Gathering. It was the first time they came to Portugal and it just blew me away!!!! Anneke has one of the most beautiful voices i've ever heard, she's my favourite female singer, she has a sweet and powerfull voice. I recommend all of you who don't them to listen to it. Yesterday Carlos Paredes passed away. He was Portugal's most famous guitar player. He played the portuguese guitar like no one else. He was a master, a virtuoso. He felt music in a very special way and used to say that when he'd stop playing guitar he'd die. He had been sick for 10 years with a disease that kept him from playing. For me as a guitar player, he is a reference, someone to look upon and i know that is legacy will be passed to future generations.
